Maxwell Herman Alexander Newman, geboren als Max Neumann (* 7. Februar 1897 in London; † 22. Februar 1984 in Comberton nahe Cambridge) war ein britischer Mathematiker und Kryptoanalytiker. Max Newman was an English mathematician who worked on combinatorial topology and theoretcal computer science. His codebreaking work in World War II has made him famous.
