Daria Halprin (born December 30, 1948) is an American somatic-expressive arts therapist, author, teacher dancer, and former actress known primarily for her performances in three films of the late 1960s and early 1970s and as founding director of Tamalpa Institute.
Über Daria Halprin erfuhr der Life/Art Process® seit den 70er Jahren hinsichtlich künstlerischer und therapeutischer Aspekte eine Weiterentwicklung. 1978 gründeten die Halprins in Kalifornien das Tamalpa Institute, wo noch heute der Tamalpa Life/Art Process® gelehrt wird.

Founded in 1978 by dance pioneers Anna Halprin and Daria Halprin, the Tamalpa Institute is an internationally recognized nonprofit organization that offers expressive arts training programs and workshops for healing, education, and social transformation.
