15. Aug. 2021 · Allmendinger led only the last two laps of overtime to secure his second career victory in a wild finish at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Hamlin was hit by Briscoe on the final restart and finished 23rd, while Larson moved to the top of the points standings.
After a four-year hiatus from the NCS full-time schedule, Allmendinger made his return driving Kaulig Racing’s No. 16 Chevrolet for the 2023 season. He earned seven top 10, four top-five finishes and one win in the Bank of America ROVAL 400 at the Charlotte ROVAL, Kaulig Racing’s second NCS win.
