But Nolan wound up in the Warner Bros. system where he got special handling, and he got a lot of money to make huge art films like Inception. Richard can be one of our greatest filmmakers.

Kelly followed his cult hit with a bigger movie, but even weirder, more esoteric and more artistically interesting. Blomkamp has gotten to direct three absolutely shit films since Elysium, including last year’s Gran Turismo. Kelly hasn’t been able to make a single movie since 2009, the same year District 9 came out.
