Amerikanisch-polnische Rocksängerin und Bandleaderin, geboren am 1. Januar 1940 in Lozd, Polen, als Genyusha Zelkowitz. Sie war eine Holocaust-Überlebende und kam 1947 mit ihren Eltern und einer Schwester in die USA. Der Rest der Familie war in deutschen Konzentrationslagern ums Leben gekommen.
