This is a support forum for uBlock Origin. It is not a place to ask for or recommend other extensions, apps, products, or services. Recommendations need to be specifically allowed by a moderator.
uBlock Origin is the superior choice. It is very fast, low on system resources, and actually functions as an adblocker instead of allowing "acceptable ads" to be loaded and displayed. The Firefox version even goes as far as blocking IP leaks from WebRTC and anti-adblock techniques.
The developers probably test uBlock every day and start working on a fix that same day. Then YouTube developers will update YouTube to defeat uBlock again. It's a cat-and-mouse game and uBlock is winning since ads are blocked most of the time and get displayed a few days every once in a while until it's updated again.
