A lifelong resident of Conway, he attended Conway High School, the University of Central Arkansas and earned his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Mr. Shaw was very dedicated to serving his hometown.
Shaw died on 8 January 2005 while attempting to recover the body of Deon Dreyer. [3] Shaw recorded his dive with an underwater camera, which allowed researchers to determine that he suffered from respiratory issues due to the high pressure. [4] . Shaw ran into difficulties when the body unexpectedly began to float.
With great sadness we report that Professor Frank Shaw died suddenly and unexpectedly on 5 March. Professor Shaw attended Farnworth Grammar School from 1939 to 1946, then read French and German at the University of Manchester, taking his BA in 1950 and his MA in Medieval German in 1951.
