UIC Law was founded in 1899 as the John Marshall Law School and initially accredited by the American Bar Association in 1951. It merged with the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2019, becoming the UIC John Marshall Law School.
John received his B.A. from Denison University and his J.D. from The Ohio State University.
