  4. Storyline. Portland Bill is the lighthouse keeper at Guillemot Rock, alongside his two assistants Ross and Cromarty (and his small pet dog Dogger). Guillemot Rock lies offshore of the small village of McGuillycuddy. The village is so small it only has one shop and the shopkeeper takes on multiple jobs.
