Vincent Samson Appice (born September 13, 1957) is an American rock and metal drummer best known for his work with the bands Dio, Black Sabbath, and Heaven & Hell. Of Italian descent, he is the younger brother of drummer Carmine Appice .

Heaven and Hell war eine Kollaboration zwischen den derzeitigen Black-Sabbath-Mitgliedern Tony Iommi und Geezer Butler sowie den ehemaligen Black-Sabbath-Mitgliedern Vinny Appice und dem 2010 verstorbenen Ronnie James Dio.
Vinny Appice, has anchored the rhythm and power live and in the studio for the music of DIO, BLACK SABBATH, HEAVEN AND HELL, WWIII, AXIS, RICK DERRINGER, JOHN LENNON and more. He has recorded and co-written songs on over 25 albums and CDs, including many multi-platinum records.
Aktuell ist er mit seinem Bruder Carmine Appice auf Drum Wars - Tour und seit 2013 auch als wiedervereinigte Dio-Band der Achtziger als Last In Line unterwegs. Von 2009 bis 2014 war Appice Mitglied der Band Kill Devil Hill .
Vinny Appice vanta la lunga permanenza nei Dio (gruppo fondato da Ronnie James Dio), e la successiva entrata negli anni ottanta nei Black Sabbath, nonché svariate collaborazioni prestigiose: Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), Vivian Campbell (Dio), i Lizards, gli Axis (prima esperienza professionale).
