Mad Max: Fury Road ist ein US-amerikanischer Endzeitfilm von George Miller. Es ist der vierte Teil der Mad-Max-Filmreihe, die 1979 mit Mad Max begann und 1981 mit Mad Max II – Der Vollstrecker und 1985 mit Mad Max – Jenseits der Donnerkuppel fortgesetzt worden war.
Set in a post-apocalyptic desert wasteland where petrol and water are scarce commodities, Fury Road follows Max Rockatansky (Hardy), who joins forces with Imperator Furiosa (Theron) against cult leader Immortan Joe (Keays-Byrne) and his army, leading to a lengthy road battle.
