Carl Lee Perkins war ein amerikanischer Country-Musiker, Sänger, Gitarrist und Songwriter. Er gilt als Pionier des Rockabilly und wurde 1956 mit der ersten Fassung des von ihm geschriebenen Blue Suede Shoes bekannt.
