Harold Kelt is, without a doubt, a musical genius. After listening to a Jimmy Hendrix album at the age of 14, Harold began playing guitar. He also studied piano at Weirlein’s on Canal street. He became the organ player in a psychedelic band in 1968 but soon realized he was a string player at heart.
Harold Kelt passed away in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The obituary was featured in The Advocate on November 6, 2012, and The Times-Picayune on November 8, 2012.
(Despite the fact that he was later sacked, I think Harold Kelt’s keyboards sound pretty good here.) All this, plus a very rare cover of The Move's "Message From the Country"!
