Juan Marichal was a Dominican-born pitcher who played for the San Francisco Giants from 1960 to 1975. He won three Cy Young Awards, was a 12-time All-Star and a Hall of Famer.
Juan Marichal was the first Dominican-born player to be elected to the Hall of Fame in 1983. He pitched for the Giants, Red Sox and Dodgers, and won 243 games with a 2.89 ERA and 2,303 strikeouts.
