Profile: Growing up in Minneapolis, in 1982 he decided to start up a small synth-pop band known then as "The Information Society" (InSoc), with friends Kurt Harland and Pamela Brustman. Robb then invited James Cassidy to join the band and they released an unsuccessful EP in 1983. Next year, Murat Konar joined the band.
