Peter James O'Mahony (born 17 September 1989) is an Irish rugby union player who plays as a flanker for United Rugby Championship club Munster and the Ireland national team. During his career, O'Mahony has captained Presentation Brothers College, Ireland U18, Ireland U20, Munster, Ireland and the British & Irish Lions.

I became captain of a rugby team for the first time when playing with Con at Under-12’s level. After that, I focused on schools rugby with Pres Cork – one of the best rugby schools in Munster. In 2007, we won the Munster schools Senior Cup together at Pres Cork. The next year, I was Captain, which was a huge honour.
