Smart Alec is a 1951 British crime film directed by John Guillermin and starring Peter Reynolds. The screenplay was by Alec Coppel, based on his 1941 play Mr Smart Guy.
Smart Alec, aka Smart Aleck, is a 1951 pornographic film. The silent short, which is no more than 20 minutes in length and was filmed in black-and-white, was one of the most famous and widely circulated of the early underground pornographic era.

In SMART ALEC, a man named Alec Albion (Peter Reynolds) and his wife, move into a new, top floor, luxury apartment. Alec has moved in to be close to his rich uncle. It's clear from the beginning that he's up to something. When the uncle is found dead, Alec seems to have concocted the perfect alibi.
