- Our School
St Mungo's Academy is a Roman Catholic, co-educational, comprehensive, secondary school located in Gallowgate, Glasgow. The school was founded in 1858 by the Marist Brothers religious order. The debate team at St Mungo's were the first Scottish team to represent the UK at the World Parliamentary Debate Competition, which they won.

St Mungo's Academy was founded by the Marist Brothers in 1858 to educate poor Catholic boys, largely Irish immigrants in the East End of the City. The Marist Brothers is an international religious institute established in 1817 by St Marcellin Champagnat, a Marist priest from France.
14. Aug. 2024 · SOME of the last pupils to study at St Mungo’s Academy are looking to organise a reunion to mark 40 years since the school closed. St Mungo’s closed in June 1984, with the buildings demolished to make way for the construction of a new road.
St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries was a wizarding hospital located in London, England. It was founded by famous Healer Mungo Bonham in the 1600s. The emblem of St Mungo's was a wand crossed with a bone. It appeared that the hospital served the entire wizarding population of Great Britain.
