Steve Fossen is an American bassist and a founding member of the band Heart. He was born in Seattle in 1949 and inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.
Steve Fossen is the original bassist and co-founding member of Heart, one of classic rock's most successful and revered bands. Heart By Heart is his band that performs the classic Heart music with respect and love, featuring his wife Somar Macek and former Heart drummer Michael Derosier.
Heart is an American-Canadian rock band formed in 1973 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The band evolved from previous projects led by founding members Roger Fisher (guitar) and Steve Fossen (bass guitar), including The Army (1967–1969), Hocus Pocus (1969–1970), and White Heart (1970–1973).
