The Lana Sisters were a British vocal group formed by Iris Long in 1958, with Lynne Abrams. [1] . They put an advert in The Stage for a third member and got a reply from Mary O'Brien, who would go on to solo success a few years later as Dusty Springfield. They were managed by Evelyn Taylor, and toured around England.

THE LANA SISTERS. Riss Chantelle formed the LANA SISTERS with Lynne Abrams and gave Dusty Springfield her first professional engagement with the trio. They signed with Fontana Records and recorded "Chimes of Arcady" & "Ring-A-My-Phone" and with their jazzy pop style, they soon made their name in live shows and TV appearances.
