He leads his own Sextet and has released several albums, such as Coexist and Make It Happen, that showcase his multicultural approach to jazz.
Winard Harper is a celebrated jazz drummer and leader of his own groups, who has worked with many great jazz artists and recorded several albums for Savant Records. He is also a frequent residency leader for the Kennedy Center's Betty Carter's Jazz Ahead program and a frequent guest performer at the KC Jazz Club.
