Green Lantern: Emerald Knights is a 2011 animated movie published as part of the DC Universe Animated Original Movies. Despite the reused character models, it is not a sequel to Green Lantern: First Flight, but a collection of tales on Green Lanterns told in a larger framing story.
Green Lantern: Emerald Knights is the second animated film in the Green Lantern animated film series. It is based loosely on Ron Marz and Kevin Dooley's 1998's story arc of the same name which follows the origins of the Green Lantern Corps.
As the home planet of the Green Lantern Corps faces a battle with an ancient enemy, Hal Jordan prepares new recruit Arisia for the coming conflict by relating stories of the first Green Lantern and several of Hal's comrades.
