George Warren McCrae, Jr. (* 19. Oktober 1944 in West Palm Beach, Florida) ist ein US-amerikanischer Pop - und R&B - Sänger, der 1974 mit Rock Your Baby einen internationalen Nummer-1-Hit hatte. Er war Anfang der 1970er Jahre einer der ersten Interpreten der Discomusik .
The song was so successful that Rolling Stone magazine voted it the No. 1 song of the year in 1974. McCrae received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Male R&B Vocalist the following year.
