George Morton or George Mourt (c. 1585 – 1624) was an English Puritan Separatist. He was the publisher of, and perhaps helped write, the first account in Great Britain of the founding of Plymouth Colony, called Mourt's Relation.

George Morton was born on 16 June 1624, in Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. He died on 3 October 1673, in Plymouth Magisterial District, Lunenburg, Virginia, British Colonial America, at the age of 49.
In 1623, Morton himself emigrated to the Plymouth Colony with his wife Juliana, the sister of Governor William Bradford's wife Alice. But George Morton didn't survive long in the New World; he died the following year in 1624.
