1. Feb. 2022 · Die Groundhogs begannen ihre Karriere als Begleitband von John Lee Hooker. Sie nannten sich entweder nach dem Song „Dirty Groundhog“ oder dem “Groundhog Blues” von John Lee Hooker. Das Marmota Monax oder Waldmurmeltier schien es jedenfalls John Lee Hooker angetan zu haben.
