25. Nov. 2014 · Die UZH-Chemieprofessoren Jay Siegel und Kim Baldridge wagten Anfang des Jahres den Sprung nach China. Bis 2017 werden sie an der Tianjin-Universität (TJU) als Dozierende tätig sein. Beide verstehen sich als Brückenbauer, wie Jay Siegel in einem Interview mit UZH News betont.
In 2003, he was appointed as Professor and codirector of the Organic chemistry institute of the University of Zurich (UZH) and Director of its laboratory for process chemistry research (LPF). He served as Dean of Studies and Head of the Research Council for the Faculty of Sciences at UZH.
25. Jan. 2006 · Zu Ehren des 100-jährigen LSD-Entdeckers und ehemaligen Doktoranden der Universität Zürich, Albert Hofmann, hat Chemieprofessor Jay S. Siegel ein hochkarätig besetztes Kolloquium organisiert. Für unipublic führt Professor Siegel aus, was Hofmann neben LSD Bahnbrechendes entdeckt hat.
