The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) is a drama school located in Barons Court London. It is the oldest specialist drama school in the British Isles and a founding member of the Federation of Drama Schools.
The training is practical because drama is about doing and being. We offer an inventive environment for artistic development; our commissioning and creative programme gives artists and practitioners time to reflect, examine their own practice and contribute to an ever-evolving industry.

We believe that drama is a collaborative art form and our training is based on the ethos of ensemble, so you’ll need to have a willingness to work in a group and the capability to be adaptive and receptive. Our training is thorough and so we’ll also be looking for a readiness to work hard.
