Scotts Hill is a town in Decatur and Henderson counties in the U.S. state of Tennessee. The population was 877 at the 2020 census. The community was named after Micajah Scott, a pioneer settler and the first merchant to settle in the town.

Scotts Hill. Snuggled half in Decatur County and half in Henderson County lies the thriving town of Scotts Hill. It was in 1825 that Micajah Scott moved to Tennessee from North Carolina and settled at this locality. He opened the first store and the town was named in his honor. The old stage road ran through the town.
Scotts Hill was first settled in the fall of 1825 by Charles Austin, about one and a half miles SW of the present downtown. The first merchant was Micajah Scott, who built his store atop the hill across from the present Methodist Church.
