12. Aug. 2021 · Hazlewood’s most famous song, ‘These Boots Are Made For Walkin’,’ was a 1966 hit on both sides of the Atlantic for Nancy Sinatra, whom he went on to record a series of duets with, including the seminal and psychedelic ‘Some Velvet Morning’.
Barton Lee Hazlewood (July 9, 1929 – August 4, 2007) was an American country and pop singer, songwriter, and record producer, most widely known for his work with guitarist Duane Eddy during the late 1950s and singer Nancy Sinatra in the 1960s and 1970s.
International bekannt wurde Lee Hazlewood in den 1960er Jahren durch seine Zusammenarbeit mit Nancy Sinatra, für die er zahlreiche Songs verfasste und teilweise auch zusammen mit ihr interpretierte.
