A few hours before I could play without issues. I don't even have to do anything and it freezes/crashes just sitting in start screen. Steam version. What I tried: -restarted PC. -verified game files. -disable steam overlay. -removed launch options. -closed MSI Afterburner (because of Rivatuner overlay)

I'm in a very similar situation. I've been having very annoying and constant crashes as well. I recently upgraded from an rx 580 to a 5700xt and all of a sudden I can barely get through a game without getting booted out and being prompted with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG (Note: I literally only have this problem in Apex Legends). Apex Crashing on Launch . Since the most recent update, Apex has crashed after launching, and I have been unable to log in and play. From steam, I initiate the game, the launcher starts, the anti-cheat runs, and then when Apex starts to run, it does not appear and the program shuts down on its own after 5-10 seconds.
Um das zu beheben bitte einmal Windowstaste+R drücken und cmd tippen, dann strg+shift+enter drücken um CMD als Admin aufzurufen. Schreibe sfc /scannow (oder den Befehl kopieren & einfügen), danach im gleichen CMD Fenster shutdown -r -f -t 0 um den PC neuzustarten.

20. Apr. 2023 · EA App: From “My Collection”, click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the Apex Legends tile and select “View Properties”. Add "-eac_launcher_settings SettingsDX12.json" in the text box under “Advanced Launch Options”. Click “Save” and launch the game normally.

October. Options. EA_Leeuw. Community Manager. Hey everyone, Thank you for the reports. There was indeed an EA app outage last night that affected new downloads or repairs of Apex Legends via the EA app. This issue has now been resolved. I'll hereby also close the thread.
