Anna Gutto, or Anna Guttormsgaard, is a Norwegian-born American film director, writer, and actor. She wrote and directed her debut feature-length film Paradise Highway (2022), featuring Juliette Binoche and Morgan Freeman.
Director, screenwriter and actor Anna Gutto has been working in theater and film since she was a child. She is known for Paradise Highway, A Light Above (2017), Mommy Heist (2016) and The Kangaroo (2012). She was born in Norway, to artists Karin Eie and Guttorm Guttormsgaard.

Acting - stage and screen. Anna Gutto worked professionally in her native Norway as well as in New York - on stage and on screen. With a special edge with Henrik Ibsen and other Norwegian playwrights such as Jon Fosse, Anna has also starred as Lady Anne in William Shakespeare's Richard III.
Paradise Highway is a 2022 thriller film written and directed by Anna Gutto in her feature length debut and starring Juliette Binoche, Frank Grillo, and Morgan Freeman. An international co-production between the United States, Germany, and Switzerland, the film was released in the United States on July 29, 2022, by Lionsgate .
In 2020, Anna initiated KIDS SPEAK UP - a project for kids to speak up about racism. Norway-born screenwriter and director, Gutto started her career in the theater earning accolades such as “universally excellent” in The New York Times. She received her MFA in Film Directing at Columbia.
