Clinton Shorter (born March 18, 1971) is a Canadian film and television composer. He is particularly known for his score for Neill Blomkamp's film District 9. He has also composed the music for over 300 television episodes.
Shorter has worked on over 500 episodes for television, numerous commercials, indie films and original music for the Olympics. The Award winning Vancouver native, developed a love for music at a young age.
District 9: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack to the 2009 film District 9. The album, produced by Clinton Shorter, was released by Madison Gate Records on August 18, 2009, four days after the film's release, and features 11 tracks.
