Llewelyn Davies boys. The Davies boys [a] were the inspiration for the stories of Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie, in which several of the characters were named after them. They were the sons of Sylvia (1866–1910) and Arthur Llewelyn Davies (1863–1907).

Barrie, who was a close companion of Sylvia, provided financial support for the family and became a guardian of the boys.
29. Okt. 2012 · Sylvia Llewelyn Davies, who in an odd gesture to the gothic happened to be Daphne du Maurier’s aunt, did die, just as in the movie, of lung cancer. But she died in 1910, five years after the first staging of Peter Pan, not just as it came out. Already the play had integrated itself into upper-middle-class British society as a Christmas tradition.

Other plays produced by Barrie, such as Quality Street (1901) and The Admirable Crichton (1902), achieved great success and his popularity and fortune increased further.
The Davies boys (the family only used the double surname Llewelyn Davies in formal contexts) were the sons of Arthur (1863–1907) and Sylvia Llewelyn Davies (1866–1910), the daughter of the French-born cartoonist and writer George du Maurier and sister of actor Gerald du Maurier.
