Known to some as The Clontarf Cowboy, he had worked with Gary Moore Band, Donovan, Johnny Cash. John Prine, Emmylou Harris, Guy Clarke, Clannad, The Everly Brothers, Clint Black, Paul Brady, and Steve Young. He recorded some 2,500 songs with various artists.
