Georgetown University is set to welcome its ninth mascot, Jack the Bulldog, in the Spring 2024 semester. Born on July 28, 2023, Jack (officially named Serchell's John P. Carroll) will follow tradition by engaging with the campus community, attending basketball games, and taking walks across campus.

Jack was born in central California in July 2023. The thirty-pound pup enjoys sunbathing, cantaloupe and playing with other dogs.
