Das Komitat Nógrád [ˈnoːɡraːd] (deutsch Neuburg, slowakisch Novohrad) ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk im Norden Ungarns. Es hat eine Fläche von 2.544,18 km² und 182.038 Einwohner (2023). Der Komitatssitz ist Salgótarján, weitere wichtige Städte sind Balassagyarmat und Bátonyterenye.

Nógrád liegt in Nordungarn, 60 Kilometer südwestlich des Komitatssitzes Salgótarján und 7 Kilometer südwestlich der Kreisstadt Rétság an dem Fluss Morgó-patak. Nachbargemeinden sind Diósjenő , Tolmács , Nőtincs , Berkenye und Szokolya .
Nógrád vármegye, 1950 és 2022 között Nógrád megye, közigazgatási egység Magyarország északi részén. Északról Szlovákia, keletről Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén vármegye, délkeletről Heves vármegye, délnyugatról pedig Pest vármegye határolja.
