28. Aug. 2022 · The current Jonathan the Husky is the 14th to serve as UConn's four-legged mascot. His student handlers come from the Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity, and he was interviewed alongside APO president Erin McKeehan and APO adviser Tracy Cree.

10. Feb. 2023 · A purebred Siberian Husky, Jon joined a long line of husky mascots dating back to 1935. The original mascot was chosen as a result of a student poll.
From attending campus and community events, to bringing smiles to thousands of husky fans at sporting events and making appearances all across the country, Jonathan is one of the most recognized and photographed symbols of the Pride and Spirit of UConn!
