11. März 2015 · There are a number of grade combinations. Most require three grades, but they can be in any combnation and are based on the A-level pass grades of A-E. There are certain percentages that must be achieved for each grade e.g. An A is 80%, B = 70%, C 60% etc. Grade U is 0-39%. E is the lowest pass grade, requiring 40%.

hi, could someone please tell me some universities that have minimum entry requirements of ABB/ AAB for m100 law, but are still considered as good/ prestigious. Depending on the Uni, many will 'filter out' anyone not meeting the admissions requirements as a first step. So it doesnt matter how fantastic your PS is, it wont get read.

I had my A-Levels converted into an Abitur grade and for example a grade B in the Uk means roughly 1.9 in Germany. So I guess AAB would be equivalent to 1,0. You need at least four subjects for A-Levels to be converted into Abitur. And you need to have chosen the right subjects.
Original post by bistonut. Sheffield and maybe bristol (need to look around) will be my AAB offers. Also, think maybe warwick is AAB IF you do further maths. Not for 2012 entry. Also worth mentioning, Birmingham are AAB for some courses and York ask for AAB. Sheffield do, and if you do further maths so do Warwick.
of course you can, you can apply to whatever course you want as AAB is just predicted. but as for the chance of getting an offer, you will have to find a way to convince them that you will get the grades. Either way, the uni's mentioned above sound good =) Probably Warwick and St Andrews would reject AAB. So it's probably York, Manchester, Soton, Exeter, Sheffield that sort of thing. How did you get an offer from Cambridge without easily being able to get AAB! I can easily get AAB, thats my worst case scenario.
