Jan. 2013 · I'm curious nobody pointed out pdfjam, which is a super efficient way to merge images/pdf into a pdf: pdfjam --a4paper *.jpg will create for you a pdf in A4 format for all .jpg files, usually named with a -pdfjam.pdf at the end. To force a specific output name, you have a --outfile <your output> option!

29. Nov. 2018 · To edit the resulting single big PDF afterwards, use a tool like PDFSam that lets you insert a single PDF in the middle of another PDF file. EDIT: Use LO Impress' Photo Album feature: New Presentation -> Insert -> Media -> Photo Album. There, you can select multiple images to insert. If you're done, just export as PDF.

It works best if the pages in the PDF are landscape already. 1.) Make sure the package imagemagick is installed (apt install imagemagick). Put your source PDF into a directory.
