Got a Renault Kangoo 1.5dci and the engine randomly cuts out while drivng.There no problem starting it again once this happens and it can be ok for 10 miles or up to 100 miles. I thought the problem was the crank sensor, but it has made no difference.

Juni 2017 · Hi if you jack up the car and put it on a axle stand for extra security then put a bar or piece of timber under the wheel and lever the the plank/bar up and down, this will give you some indication of strut wear and maybe you will hear the knock. Apr. 2010 · Hi Everyone, I hope some one can help me as my Kangoo van (1.5 dci 2003) has very little power until i hit 3600 rpm, then it pulls away fine, but when i change up a gear, the revs drop below 3600rpm and the van takes ages to climb up the revs again. This also makes it hard to get up to speed on the motorway. I'm thinking its a sensor or something.

It's a bit like the syncro's are going on those two gears, as it feels like the gear teeth are not engaging properly eg tooth to tooth!. Double de clutching or engaging the clutch between gear changes Helps.
