She won five Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards for her portrayal of the title character on the CBS sitcom Murphy Brown (1988–1998, 2018). She is also known for her role as Shirley Schmidt on the ABC drama Boston Legal (2005–2008).
Faith Alexis Ford (born September 14, 1964) [1] [2] is an American actress. She played Corky Sherwood on the CBS sitcom Murphy Brown, receiving five Primetime Emmy Award nominations. [3] .
