  2. King George V School (KGV, pronounced "K-G-Five") is a coeducational international secondary independent school of the English Schools Foundation (ESF), located in Ho Man Tin, Hong Kong. The school has more than 1,900 students and is one of the oldest schools in Hong Kong.

  3. Welcome to King George V (KGV) School. As Principal of KGV, I am delighted to be able to write a few lines to introduce you to the school. KGV is a dynamic and exciting place, where over 1850 students and 250 staff call home.

  4. In 1947 children of all nationalities were permitted to attend the school. The school was no longer just a British school. On Speech Day 1948 it was announced that the school would be called King George V School. King George had been king in 1935 when the Foundation Stone of the school was laid.
