Dave Munden, the original drummer and frequent lead singer for the British beat group the Tremeloes, best known for their hit covers of “Do You Love Me,” “Here Comes My Baby” and “Silence is Golden” in the 1960s, died October 15, 2020. His death was announced on the group’s Facebook page.
Musikstil: Beat, Pop. Am Morgen des 15. Oktober 2020 verstarb der britische Schlagzeuger und Sänger Dave Munden. Er gehörte im Jahr 1958 zu den Gründungsmitgliedern der Beat- und Pop Band The Tremeloes, die in den Sechziger und Siebziger Jahren zahlreiche Hits in den Charts platzieren konnten.

All members shared vocals, though most of the songs featured either Hawkes or drummer Dave Munden as the lead singer. Guitarist Rick Westwood sang falsetto co-lead vocal with Hawkes' lower range vocal and group harmonies also featured on "Silence Is Golden".
15. Okt. 2020 · · October 15, 2020 ·. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to original Tremeloes drummer Dave Munden today. The band in Rock & Roll Heaven has gained a new member.
