11. Jan. 2022 · 25 January 2022 at 12:48PM. Currently, Flexible Octopus is offering me Electricity, daily charge 26.82, unit rate 19.89 p/kWh; Gas daily charge 26.ll, unit rate 3.94 p/kWh. That's cheaper than Loyal Octopus, and I can switch for nothing if the tariff rises dramatically.
10. Sept. 2024 · Octopus energy. We moved to Octopus earlier in the year due to take over from shell. Steadily paying £140 a month. On the app 3 months ago they recommended we increased to roughly £170 a month. I kept at £140 after phone call to customer service. Now they are recommending £388 a month. 😡. Obviously now anxious for winter!

Solar PV 5.25kWp SW facing (14 x 375 Longi) Lux 3.6kw hybrid inverter and 4.8kw Pylontech battery storage installed March 22. Octopus Agile/Fixed Outgoing and Tracker gas.

Lately they have been repliyng to emails.after unusual delays, then with non specific, not really relevant, answers - as if they had not read my emails.
31. Mai 2024 · I was moved over to Octopus Energy from Shell in February. I am on a fixed tariff with monthly billing but Octopus seem incapable of billing when they should. In 3 months I’ve been billed 10 times, ranging from usage for 1 day up to 6 weeks. The billing also includes estimated bills even though I’m on a smart meter.
4. Mai 2022 · Also moved to Octopus from Avro and had a (Landis+Gyr) SMETS-2 smart meter fitted this week as I'm going to need it soon for solar energy export. Swift installation without difficulty and follow up email checking if theinstaller was polite, explained the equipment, wore covers on shoes to avoid dirt on carpet , etc.
18. Nov. 2020 · Octopus Energy. Having given my exact energy use over the last year Octopus offered a very favourable at a reduced monthly payment. So I changed to them as my supplier. Just one month in and they are saying that as I estimated (!!!!) lower than my actual usage they have to double my monthly payment.
