17. Juli 2021 · I sympathize with people who have been persecuted, but the Epoch Times is pure conspiracy theory peddling garbage. It’s a few steps above Weekly World News. I dislike both Falun Gong and the CCP. While I can sympathize with Falun for being a persecuted group by the CCP, that’s about where my positive views end.
Worth pointing out that Epoch Times/Falun Gong sunk something like 2 mil into the Trump PAC, and the State Dept was funding them ~1.5 mil (through a front business the GIFC as reported on bbc/wp) for some kind of vpn that no addition info is avail for, which I would expect to increase now that more of the GOP is onboard.

Epoch Times has a “free newspaper” that’ll show up in your PO box and looks exactly like a neighborhood or small town newspaper would, with headlines that are just slightly believable enough to not tip people off that it’s straight up propaganda. I’ve had to explain this to relatives when I’ve seen copies show up at their house. I’ve even gotten them myself in Minneapolis.
