And take the registration name or AKC# and search on OFFA.org to check clearances on whatever dogs whose litter you are interested in. If the clearances are not on offa.org, I would ask the breeder.

Length depends on the size of your dog’s head. I typically use 18”-20” collars for puppies and 20”-22” for adults, but again, it depends on size of head.

In 2006, the AKC registered 42,962 Goldens. Based on that, I would assume there are somewhere between 500,000 - 750,000 living registered Goldens in the US.

8. Sept. 2024 · I’d like to start my 2 puppies (9 months and 11 months) on a preventative joint supplement/chew. I’m pretty set on nutramax brand but am torn between dasuquin w msm and cosequin. Actually the three main ingredients are the same just some variety in additional ingredients. In the past I’ve always used glycoflex preventative for my Goldens.
