MAG June 2021 Traffic Statistics. MAG’s passenger figures grow year-on-year but continue to reflect impact of pandemic. Passenger numbers for June 2021 are down 90.6% compared to June 2019. MAG’s rolling 12 month total is down 83.3%.
Both London Stansted and Manchester Airports served around 2.3 million passengers, equating to 94% and 93% of pre-pandemic traffic. East Midlands Airport’s recovery also continued, serving more than 350,000 passengers across the month – equivalent to 84% of traffic seen in 2019, which was up 16% month on month.

Manchester Airports Group (MAG) delivered a strong start to 2023, with passenger volumes at more than 90% of those seen pre-pandemic. MAG, which owns and operates Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands Airports, served 3.6 million passengers in January.
London, 17. September. 2020. MAG August 2020 traffic statistics. 1.7 million passengers used MAG airports in August, down 74.9% on last year, owing to Covid-19 related travel restrictions. The number of passengers MAG has served in the last 12 months is now down 48.8% to 32 million.
MAG December 2020 traffic statistics. MAG served 88.9% fewer passengers in December 2020 compared to 2019, as tiered Coronavirus restrictions continued after the November national lockdown. MAG’s rolling 12-month passenger total is down 75.1%
