So this hack is mainly 3 things: a total re-balancing of the game in terms of difficulty and costs of items and PSI, a massive text edit back to the Mother 2 original stuff (where it works), and recently thanks to Coil Snake a visual overhaul of all Battle sprites, some backgrounds, and some over world sprites. Added enemies to the game that appeared in both MOTHER and MOTHER 3, but curiously do not appear in MOTHER 2, for series continuity: Titany, Titanian, Scrapped Robot, Old Robot, Eagle, and Armor (Yes, I know that the MOTHER 3 “Eagle” enemy is clearly a vulture, both by it’s actual Japanese name and sprite, but a bird of prey is a bird of prey to me.)

All enemy graphics, NPC sprites and tiles are be redrawn from scratch to be more faithful to the clay models. The goofy enemies are goofier and the creepy enemies are creepier.
Nessfan304. they should make a mother 1 remake for the DS, but it doesn’t have to be just as same as the NES version was.
