3. Sept. 2008 · Re: Anybody know about Stacers? Having a stacer bowrider, all of these boats are not fun in over 1m. They are designed to plane, and anything over .7m in the bay make this difficult. However they are a wide boat with high sides, so the 519/525/529 are generally licensed for 6 so you can get two young families in them.
I have ridden in the 480 Easy Rider with a 75 E-TEC, and for an all round family boat, they are a great package. For alloy, they ride well, and there is plenty of room for kids, eskies, fishing gear etc. I would lean on the side of more power, and the E-TEC 75 really motored on this boat. 17. Feb. 2009 · I've found a Nautiglass V17 but it's really hard to dig up info on this boat. I think it may also be known as a Vickers Easyrider (unsure of model name or number). The one I'm looking at is powered by an 11 year old 70HP Yamaha 2-stroke. I'm a little worried it's going to be underpowered.

19. Sept. 2007 · Re: s/h Stacer 525 EASY RIDER or new bluefin. Just purchased 519 seamaster with 75 hp 2 stroke merc (not optimax) for $27000 from webbe marine. (new) It does 35 knots with 3 adults and full fuel load. There is of course hull slap but it is reduced from what I used to hear 20 years ago from tinny hulls.
2. Jan. 2008 · I have an Easy Rider 14.5 foot runabout - built 1978 and find it is great for my purposes. They are a pretty basic boat, but quite well made. As outsiderskip said make sure the transom and the floor are OK. I was lucky with mine - they are fine and we have not had a problem with them. 18. Feb. 2008 · Re: Looking for feedback on 19' Vickers Easyrider boat. If you are talking a fresh water river, then beware. Fresh water is not as kind to glass boats as salt water IMO. The original 186 Easyrider was a pretty good boat. The length was 18'6", the beam 7'10" and was rated to 200 HP when that was measured at the powerhead.
