About the university. The International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan was established pursuant to the presidential decree "On measures on radical improvement of the religious and educational sphere" on the basis of the Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan and Tashkent Islamic University.
As part of its religious education, the academy offers courses in Islamic economy and finance, studies of the Quran, history of Islam, Hadith, Islam rights, and Aqida. There are also secular courses available in international relations, classic literature, languages, and pilgrimage tourism.
